Opening new branch office in the Port of Rotterdam
On March 1st 2015, GEBA Trans opened its new branch office in Rotterdam, located at the Parmentierplein in the Waalhaven district of the Port of Rotterdam. Opening this second office is a strategic choice, the results of which will lead to a further increase of our existing capacity to support our customers in providing answers to their needs for air freight, sea freight and intermodal freight. This means we currently have two operational offices, our headquarters in Venlo, and a new office in Europe’s primary sea port: The Port of Rotterdam.
This new location in Rotterdam guarantees GEBA Trans’ proximity to all goods shipped from and to the Port of Rotterdam, Venlo and the European hinterland; by road and with intermodal services. GEBA Trans will also become increasingly effective in handling all shipments arriving from or departing to virtually every location in the world. With this step, we make a conscious choice to further emphasize unburdening and adding value to our customers.
Our Venlo headquarters will remain responsible for all road transport and handling service. A smooth cooperation between both branch offices adds tangible value to GEBA Trans’ total unburdening concept. The new Rotterdam branch office starts its operations with two staff members, complemented by the experience and network of Fred Spijksma. Ms. Ingrid van Oest is our expert in the multimodal cargo flow expertise, while Mr. Auke van Santen possesses a global network in container transports.
